Chase Redux is a pen & ink drawing on top of a photograph of the drawing Chase. The original photograph is entitled Chase in the Afternoon Sun. This is “level three” of the original work.
Cloudery will be taking part in thaw, a group show co-curated by Plywerk at Albina Press in Portland, Oregon. The opening reception is March 4th, 6–9 p.m. If you’re in the Portland area, be sure to drop by! Expect a “cloud” of black & white ACEOs as well as a color surprise. Small Forest Color Edition 1: Spring
Cloudery is now selling a color version of Small Forest, an 8 x 10 giclee print in greens, brown and lavender, in the Etsy shop — $7 from each print (50% of the proceeds) will go to Hope For Haiti Now. The image size is just under 5 x 5 inches on the 8 x 10 page. The original is black and white, and done in pen & ink.
Professionally printed by Wall Blank (who has generously donated part of the printing fee to the cause) on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper, 100% Cotton Rag, Acid Free Base, 260gsm (lightfastness rated at 61 years). The paper is heavy with a slight texture, much like the watercolor paper the original is drawn on; the colors are lush; this is a beautiful reproduction.
